Transimeksa is pleased to announce that the Frölich Internationale Transporte has made the decision to join Transimeksa and become our branch office. Frölich is a German company based in Hessisch Lichtenau, located near Kassel in the geographical center of Germany.
Frölich Internationale Transporte looks back upon a rich 135-year history as a Frölich family founded, owned, and managed business. The last 10 years were pivotal for positioning Frölich for the future. As part of its strategy, it has introduced and successfully developed an intermodal business between Germany and Italy utilizing a direct rail connection. Thereby, it has established a modern transport connection linking the northern and southern European markets through the alps. Furthermore, the rail link is simultaneously ecological and economic.
Frölich joins Transimeksa with its team of more than 90 motivated colleagues, own office and warehouse capacities in Hessisch Lichtenau, a fleet of 60 trucks, 90 trailers and a direct rail connection linking Kassel and Verona. Augmenting its intermodal businiss, Frölich also has well-established activities of FTL and LTL within the German domestic market as well as serving long term customers in Austria, Switzerland, Benelux and other European countries.
